RADIOLOGY
It is impossible to imagine modern veterinary medicine today without good quality radiographic imaging. Radiology enables us to make a diagnosisin a wide range of diseases. Clinical examinations of the cardio respiratory, gastrointestinal and skeletal systems are almost always supplemented by x-ray examinations. If x-ray investigations are to be useful in the diagnosis and treatment of a patient then it is vital that good quality images are taken in the first place and that the veterinary surgeon who interprets the has adequate knowledge to make a diagnosis. Radiology has become a very specialist field, with qualifications available just in this discipline.
