ABOUT SURGERY The NOVAK veterinary practice officially opened in 1995 and since then it has not had a single day off. During the week, the surgery is open from 9-20h and on Saturday and Sunday from 9-14h. For emergencies outside of working hours the owners can contact us on a cell phone number 064-1157-802. We keep computer records of each treated patient which enables us to access the medical history of every animal and also allows us to remind owners when regular preventive medications and check ups are due. Our clinic was completely rebuilt in 2008 and now it is a two stores building. On the ground floor there are a waiting room for adult dogs, two consultation rooms, surgical unit which is consisted of "dirty" - preoperative and "clean" operating theatre, a ward, x-ray and ultrasound diagnostic rooms. On the first floor there are a waiting room for cats and puppies, a consultation room, laboratory, a room for physiotherapy, library and a conference room. The main waiting - The main waiting room is primarily intended for adult dogs and their owners. All emergency cases are also admitted here. The waiting room is connected to the diagnostic and surgery divisions of the clinic. up

Consultation room 1 - The first consultation room is used for all routine clinical examinations and consultations. up

Consultation room 2 - The second consultation room is used for specialised diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound examination, blood pressure measurement and ECG examinations; in addition to routine clinical examinations. Also within this room, ophthalmological examinations are performed. up

Ward - The ward is equipped with 8 comfortable, hygienic cages for patients which require hospitalization. up

Radiology department - The radiology department consists of the x-ray room with large x-ray viewer and the dark room. up

Prep room - The prep room is used for preparation of patients prior to surgical procedures, but also for "dirty" surgeries such as dental work. There is a cage in this room which is usedfor patients during the immediate recovery period. up

Operating theatre - The operating theatre contains two operating tables with all the necessary equipment for anaesthesia and patient monitoring. up

Waiting room - The upper waiting room is used for cats and puppies and for animals undertaking physiotherapy. In the evenings it is used for puppy classes. up

Consultation room 3 - The third consultation room - is used for routine clinical examinations but also for physiotherapy. up

Laboratory - Laboratory - In the laboratory we perform different laboratory investigations and tests. up

Conference room and library - Our conference room can accommodate approximately 20 people and is used for various educational programs for clients, veterinary students and veterinarians. up
